In admiration...

You know, I was hesitant to make this posting because I don't want it

Great help for those affected by this economy

Tampa Bay Short Sales ( tbshortsales.com ) offers forclosure alternatives for those who are behind on payments. I hope this might benefit someone in need who might read this.

Thanks for checking my art blog and as always, for your interest in my art.

Amazing Creativity!

I'm taking an Art History class and we were to all do our own personal projects. This guy (whose full name I do not know but will add later) shows this amazing picture of Barack Obama made of bullets. BULLETS!

Greetings

Things have still been at a stand-still in the Scott residence. I spent my spare money on clothes and other non-essentials and am unable to order the art supplies I so desperately need. The inspiration is coming, though; I can feel it.

In the mean-time, check 0ut Etsy for great original art. I am always in awe of the talent showcased there.

Much love,

Carrie

Just a quick update

I've been in a creative slump as of late. There are a few things that I am presently working on, but my progress is slow.

In its typical cyclical fashion, I should be painting feverishly within the next month.

Until then, have a great rest of April!

Mural: start to finish

I'll show you the entire process, step by step.

This is the picture that was given to me.
You can see that the man in the background is playing a chello.
They wanted me to change that to a sax.

I made some sketches with the man playing the sax and
presented it to the customer for approval.

Next, we had to figure out what the bottom of the dress would look like.
This was not shown in the picture they gave me, so I came up with
three
different options.

I drew the outline of the mural on the wall with pencil, and then
I could start filling it in.

and now....

... and that's it!
